Great characters and cute twists make this a super engaging read

Following a dog walker’s discovery of a man’s body in woodland, police identify the victim as Dr Scott Deeley, a GP who seems to have been liked and respected.

Only on digging further do they realize that he had been subject to a tribunal after the death of a young boy in his care.

The boy’s parents are obvious suspects. But perhaps too obvious. Detective Sergeant Sunita Roy is tasked with digging deeper into the man’s increasingly intriguing world.
