Shiv Saywack
- About
- Shiv was born in Guyana in South America. He attended school and university in London, and after two careers —twenty years as a graphic designer and nineteen years as an art & design teacher in a sixth-form college —he retired to embark on a third. Here, he divides his time between writing crime and children’s (YA) novels and printmaking.
In his spare time, he plays the guitar but hasn’t improved much in the last fifteen years (and probably never will), so he has taken to enjoying what London has to offer, reading and dreaming. He likes the city, and it forms the backdrop to many of his novels.
