A Child Made to Order, his first thriller, is set in Oslo and follows the journey of a woman who, under the auspices of a search for a missing fertility rights campaigner, is forced to confront her own past and make some stark decisions that will affect others.

Piotr's writing captures modern European societies at a crossroads, where the private pursuit of individual interests is triumphing over prexisting social norms.
