Jesse Krenzel
- About
- Jesse has had a lifelong interest in storytelling. He wrote his first short story in a hospital bed when he was nine years old. Decades later, after college and law school in California, he grew serious about learning the craft. He took night courses at Stanford University and began attending writing conference workshops while he maintained his legal practice. A raft of short stories followed and later, a pair of novel manuscripts. His first short story publication occurred in 2012 followed by eleven more in ensuing years, three of which were performed on Hawk & Cleaver’s UK podcast, “The Other Stories.”
But Jesse’s lawyering left little time to write seriously until he retired from law altogether. Finally, with the necessary time to write and rewrite, “Deadly Landscapes,” was accepted for publication as the first novel in his legal thriller series.
Jesse continues to write from his home in California’s Sierra Nevada foothills where he lives with his wife, pets, and guitars.
